Alpha Corporation Supports Loudoun Hunger Relief
Dulles, Va. Engineering Firm Donates 180 Pounds to Food Pantry
Alpha Corporation, a woman-owned engineering and construction consulting firm headquartered in Dulles, Va., donated more than 180 pounds of food and $300 in gift cards during its annual food drive for Loudoun Hunger Relief, a Leesburg, Va. food pantry that supports families in need. Alpha Corporation employees in Dulles, Va. provided donations of food and gift cards throughout November as part of its annual Thanksgiving food drive.
“Thanksgiving is holiday of abundance, but we know that many in Loudoun County go without or struggle to keep food on the table for their families, which is why our local food drive is so important to our community,” said Kathleen Linehan, president of Alpha Corporation of Dulles, Va. “We appreciate the support of our Alpha team, who helped make our food drive successful,” said Linehan.

About Loudoun Hunger Relief Loudoun Hunger Relief (LHR), Loudoun’s leader in food assistance has been serving the Loudoun community since 1991. Last year, LHR served 8,000 Loudoun residents. 40 percent of those served are children and another 13% are senior citizens. LHR truly helps low-income, working families in Loudoun with 68% of those served employed and another 15% actively seeking employment. LHR distributed 1.6 million pounds of food last year.
