'Beer Fest Leesburg' 2017 April 22

"Beer Fest Leesburg," slated for April 22, is not your typical boozy affair. It also offers activities for kids, live music and food.

LEESBURG, VA — This fledgling beer fest doesn't appear to be quite the same as other selected beer fests, some of which are little more than the boozy fests you may or may not have attended in college. Nope, this one has a wide selection of beers along with a kids activity area.

It's the second "Beer Fest Leesburg," noon-6 p.m. April 22 at the Village at Leesburg, 1602 Village Market Boulevard Southeast. It's a bit pricey, but it also comes with unlimited beer sampling of more than 75 different brews as well as live music and food.
