3rd Annual Lincoln Strawberry Festival

Event Details

18451 Taylor Rd, Hamilton, VA, 20158

Hamilton, VA – April 6, 2025  Wegmeyer Farms is excited to announce the return of its 3rd Annual Lincoln Strawberry Festival taking place from May 16-17, 2026. This highly anticipated event invites families, friends, and strawberry lovers of all ages to enjoy a weekend of farm-fresh fun, delicious treats, and community spirit at one of Loudoun County’s most beloved farms. The weekend kicks off on May 15th with the BIP (Berry Important Person) Ruby Red Gala fundraiser dinner to benefit the Wegmeyer Farms Foundation. During the weekend, guests will have an opportunity to start the day with a pancake breakfast both Saturday and Sunday before they enjoy the full lineup of festival activities.

“We are thrilled to welcome the community back for another unforgettable weekend celebrating Virginia’s strawberry season,” said Harriet Wegmeyer, Co-Owner of Wegmeyer Farms. ”The heart of this festival is giving back to the community. We started the Foundation to make a positive impact in the community by supporting other non-profit organizations and raising funds for scholarships for local high school students. The Foundation celebrates community contributors – whether through volunteering or working – who make an impact in their communities. The Foundation follows its mission as it celebrates the natural wonder and taste of the strawberry.”

This year's festival will feature Montana Cochran as the inaugural Miss Lincoln Strawberry Festival. A ninth-generation village resident, she has previously won titles including Miss Loudoun County Teen USA and Miss Teen Northern Virginia.

The Foundation supports the Lincoln Community League, Loudoun 4-H, Lincoln Preservation Foundation, Lincoln Elementary School, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Loudoun, and Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum. Money raised will be awarded to four high school students making significant contributions in their community, as well as the art winner, which will be used in all promotions and displayed during the festival. This year’s art recipient is Serena Dylan, a sixth grader in the Harmony Middle School District and a homeschooled student.
