Celebrate the spirit of the great outdoors at the Loudoun Appalachian Trail Festival on June 6th, in historic Hillsboro, Virginia. This free, family-friendly event brings together the A.T. Communities of Bluemont, Hillsboro and Round Hill to toast the world’s most famous footpath.
Held at Hillsboro’s Old Stone School, the festival features:
• Live Music: Traditional Appalachian and Americana tunes.
• Trail Talks: Insights from hiking experts (including National Geographic Adventurer of the Year Heather Anderson) and conservation groups.
• Interactive Fun: A rock-climbing wall, obstacle course, nature crafts, and a nature-inspired art show.
• Local Flavors: Food trucks and regional craft brews, wines and spirits—plus other artisanal vendors.
Whether you're an avid trekker or a casual stroller, it’s a perfect day to discover new trails and local stewardship opportunities..
