Each year, the Loudoun Laurels Foundation honors individuals whose exceptional efforts and achievements have helped make Loudoun County a community we proudly call home. The annual gala is an opportunity for members of our community to come together and recognize extraordinary individuals whose service often goes unrecognized. By honoring our Laureates and preserving their stories, the Foundation creates a symbolic foundation for future generations to build upon.
In the hope of furthering this growth and development, the Loudoun Laurels Foundation identifies and promotes future civic leaders through scholarships, grants, and mentorship. Since its establishment in 2013, the Loudoun Laurels Foundation has awarded 31 scholarships to LCPS students totaling $1,240,000. Our Loudoun Laurels Scholars are historically underrepresented in higher education and have shown potential for success by demonstrating the same work ethic and personal sacrifice personified by our Laureates.
