Childcare Worker Sentenced to Ten Years

Brad Minor, 24, was sentenced to 10 years in prison today after he had sexually molested two four-year-old girls at Leesburg's Chesterbrook Academy last year. 

The incident became public after one of the students described inappropriate sexual contact with “Mr. Brad” to their parent. An investigation was conducted by Leesburg Police Detectives and in July 2011 a second victim was discovered.

A forensic examination of the clothing of one of the victim’s revealed bodily fluids that were consistent with the DNA profile of Minor.  

Circuit Court Judge Thomas D. Horne sentenced Minor to five years in prison for indecent liberties with a child and 20 years in prison for aggravated sexual battery. Fifteen years were suspended.

Minor's prison time will be followed by 15 years of supervised probation and he must register as a sex offender.
