Christmas Tree Curbside Pick-Up To End On Monday In Leesburg
Monday, Jan. 9 will be the last day that Leesburg residents can have their Christmas trees collected from the curbside by Patriot Disposal.

LEESBURG, VA — Monday, Jan. 9 is the last day for Leesburg residents to have their Christmas trees collected from the curb. Patriot Disposal will recycle the remaining trees.
If residents are not able to put their tree out for collection on Monday, there are still other options for Christmas tree disposal and recycling.
The Loudoun County government operates several drop-off centers for Christmas trees. The disposed trees will be made into mulch, which will then be available for free for Loudoun residents.

Residents can take trees to the following locations for recycling through mid-January:
- Leesburg: Loudoun County Landfill Recycling Center, 21101 Evergreen Mills Road, Leesburg, 20175.
- Lovettsville: Game Protective Association, 16 South Berlin Pike, Lovettsville, 20180.
- Purcellville: Franklin Park, 17501 Franklin Park Drive, Purcellville, 20132.
- South Riding: Town Hall, rear parking lot next to tennis court, 43055 Center Street, South Riding, 20152.
- Sterling: Claude Moore Park (use Loudoun Park Lane entrance), 46150 Loudoun Park Lane, Sterling, 20164.
Before setting out Christmas trees for recycling, remove all ornaments, tinsel and stands. Trees should not be placed in plastic bags.
