Drive-Thru Christmas Parade Coming To Leesburg In December
The "Glitter and Glow Drive Thru" will feature stationary floats decorated by the local community for the holiday and winter season.

LEESBURG, VA — The town of Leesburg will be holding a special Christmas parade in 2020. The “Glitter and Glow Drive Thru” will feature stationary floats decorated by the local community for the holiday and winter season.
The free event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 12 at Freedom Park, 101 Colonel Grenata Circle, SE from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
The parade has become a holiday tradition for Leesburg. The town wanted to hold a scaled-back version of the event to maintain the tradition.

Parade participation is open to the public. Applications should be submitted no later than Nov. 30.
Float participants will be automatically entered in the “Holiday in Lights” contest sponsored by Loudoun Now. The best overall light decorated float will have their name engraved on the “Holiday in Lights” trophy, which is displayed at Town Hall.

The town said the event could change due to concerns about the coronavirus. But for now, plan on participating or attending the drive-thru parade.
