Eden Troupe Presents It's a Wonderful Life: The Musical

PURCELLVILLE, VA—Come see a beloved, classic story come to life on the stage during Eden Troupe’s production of It’s a Wonderful Life: The Musical running from November 20-22 at Patrick Henry College’s Townhall. The musical version stays true to the classic story, but comes even more alive with singing and dancing.

This musical has a unique repertoire of songs, from the finger snapping, “Second-Class Angel,” the swinging, “Would You Like to Dance with Me?” the sweet love song, “If You Want the Moon,” the villainous song, “Go Ahead and Run,” to the tear-jerking song, “My Life.” The show has a wide variety of dance numbers, including jazz, Charleston, waltz, and swing dancing.
“I hope this musical will be a grand early Christmas ‘gift’ to the surrounding communities. I wanted people to have a heart-warming, meaningful, and fun show to enjoy watching together this holiday season,” Director Hannah Zarr said.

The story reminds people that “even under its heaviest and most heart-wrenching of burdens, life is a gift worthy of the deepest gratitude and joy,” assistant director Timothy Hsu said. He prays “that this story – so beautifully captured by the long labors and laughter of a wonderful director, cast and crew – will paint a picture of that reality for you as you have never seen it before.”

Eden Troupe will be offering free tickets to local nursing homes and juvenile detention centers for an exclusive November 19th performance.
DATE and TIME: Performance times are Thursday, November 20 and Friday, November 21 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 22 at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
LOCATION: Patrick Henry College’s Townhall is located at 10 Patrick Henry Circle, Purcellville, VA, 20132. Free parking will be provided.
