Cuban + World Graphics Art Sale 10 am to 5 pm Saturday in Georgetown

You are invited to our Saturday sale of 200+ authentic Cuban movie and political posters (1960s to present), as well as 100+ social cause posters from the United States, Mexico, Indonesia and other countries. Our address is 3319 O Street N.W. in Georgetown. We'll be open from 10 am to 5 pm.

The Cubans make a silk-screen poster for every movie they show on the island, domestic or foreign. So expect to see posters for U.S. films such as Cabaret, Silence of the Lambs (hand signed by the artist), the Godfather, Schindler's List and Clockwork Orange (also signed). The handmade Cuban film posters are beautifully designed and can also be found in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum and London and Centre Pompidou in Paris. We have been collecting for more than 20 years.

We'll also be offering tourism posters from Palestine and Tunisia, scarce propaganda posters from North Korea, the People's Republic of China and former Soviet Union, an original Clinton-Gore inauguration poster by Peter Max, some gorgeous Polish movie posters, a couple dozen Mao posters, a few framed Olympics posters and lots more, including Cuban postcards and foreign banknotes.

We'll have free shipping tubes for the larger posters, if needed, and a special deal for collectors and gift seekers: For every 5 posters you choose, you'll get the lowest-priced one FREE.

Hope to see you in Georgetown Saturday if you are free!
