Fall for the Trail! Nature Scavenger Hunt on the Chapman DeMary Trail

Bring the whole family out to meet your nature’s neighbors on the Chapman DeMary Trail during our fall Nature Scavenger Hunt, Sunday October 30 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Enjoy the fall colors while you explore and find natural wonders and wildlife habitats along this one-mile trail. Small prizes will be awarded to children who complete the nature scavenger hunt.

The Chapman DeMary Trail (CDT) is located behind the building at 205 East Hirst Road in Purcellville, and is in what’s considered to be the last stand of old forest growth in the Town of Purcellville. Parking is available. This student-developed trail is part of a sustainable education partnership among the Newton Marasco Foundation, Loudoun Valley High School, the Piedmont Environmental Council, and the Town of Purcellville.

For more information, and to support the CDT, visit www.NewtonMarascoFoundation.org.
