As part of its free “Ask the Expert” lecture series, Inova Loudoun Hospital will host a free ladies lunch-n-learn on “Pelvic Floor Disorder,” on Thursday, September 1 at noon.
Do you know where every bathroom is? Do you avoid liquids or refrain from activities for fear of leakage? Then you may have pelvic floor disorder. Though pelvic floor dysfunction is extremely common, it is not the inevitable result of aging or having children. Symptoms are treatable. Learning more about them can be the first step.
Lecture attendees will learn how to achieve and maintain pelvic health, about risk factors and newer treatment options, including da Vinci robotic treatment of pelvic floor disorders.
