Larry Stephenson is widely acknowledged as a top artist in bluegrass as evidenced by his numerous awards, including SPMGA’s “Contemporary Male Vocalist of the Year” five different times, his IBMA award for the “Best Recorded Event of the Year 2010” and his membership in the Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame. His long career including many appearances on the Grand Ole Opry and RFD TV have helped make his clear tenor voice instantly recognizable by all serious fans of the music. If all that is not enough, he is also held in high regard by his musical peers as an excellent mandolinist. The band also includes: banjo picker extraordinaire, Kenny Ingram, winner of numerous awards for his hard driving banjo playing, and a veteran of many top national bands like James Monroe, Jimmy Martin, Lester Flatt and Rhonda Vincent to name just a few; Kevin Richardson, an outstanding young vocalist and guitar player with much experience in spite of his young age; and Danny Stewart on the bass.
