Julius W. Becton, Jr., joined the Army Air Corps Enlisted Reserves in 1943 and entered active duty as a private in a segregated army in 1944. Becton's book, Becton: Autobiography of a Soldier and Public Servant, highlights his career. Books will be available for purchase.
