The Purcellville Volunteer Fire Company has announced its Third Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament. It will be held at Loudoun Golf and Country Club on Monday, May 14th, 2012. The golf club is located at 36967 West Main Street, Purcellville VA 20132.
“With these tough economic times, donations from residents and businesses have dwindled,” says Assistant PVFC Fire Chief Michael O’Brien. “At the same time Purcellville Volunteer Fire Company’s membership and operating costs have continued to rise more than tripling over the last three years.
“For us to continue to provide the level of service that our community and our neighboring communities expect from us, we need funds. Our Annual Golf Tournament in a fun and worthwhile way to support the fire company and your community.
“Please consider helping to make this a successful event.“
Funds raised at the tournament go to help pay for equipment, fuel, repairs and utilities for the non-profit fire department.
