Hamilton Man Stabbed, Killed His Father On Monday, Police Claim
A man from Hamilton is charged with murder after investigators said he stabbed and killed his father on Monday morning.

HAMILTON, VA — A Hamilton man was stabbed to death in a home on Monday morning, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Now, his son has been charged with murder.
Police identified the victim as 62-year-old David Brown. He died at a home on Twinoaks Place on Monday.
David Brown's son, 24-year-old Angus Brown, was arrested near the scene. The younger Brown is charged with one count of second-degree murder and one count of shooting, stabbing, cutting, or wounding in commission of a felony.

Angus Brown is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. If convicted of all charges, he could face up to 45 years in prison, based on Virginia's sentencing guidelines.
Loudoun County deputies learned of the stabbing around 6 a.m. on Monday morning. At that time, they responded to a home in the 17000 block of Twinoaks Place, where they found David Brown suffering from life-threatening injuries, according to the police report.

David Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
