LEESBURG, VA — Burglars stole from a Leesburg jewelry store on Monday morning, the police department said.

The burglars escaped with "an undetermined amount of property," according to the police report.

Authorities have not provided any description of the people responsible.

An alarm activated at the Leesburg Jewelers in the 300 block of East Market Street around 5:30 a.m. on Monday morning. When officers arrived, they noticed that someone had shattered the business's glass front door.
