Lacrosse: LCHS vs. Patriots

The Loudoun County Raiders beat the Patriots, 6-2.

The hosted the Patriots from Nokesville for the second time in a week on March 23. The game started on Monday evening, but was called due to lightning midway through the second quarter. 

On Friday the game resumed with 7:53 remaining in the second quarter with the Raiders in the lead 2-0. They went on to win the contest 6-2.

Scoring goals for the Raiders included Brad Burke, Justin England, Evan O'Hara and Sean Rogers. Assisting on goals were Ben Messina, Evan O'Hara and Sean Rogers.

The defense played well throughout the game keeping the Patriots from scoring until late in the fourth quarter. The Raiders travel to Potomac Falls High School Monday night for a 7:30 p.m. contest.
