Leesburg Homeless Fair To Offer Resources, Services

Leadership Loudoun is holding a fair in Leesburg on Saturday to provide resources and services to the region's homeless population.

LEESBURG, VA — Leadership Loudoun is holding a fair in Leesburg on Saturday to provide resources for the region’s homeless population and connect organizations and charities that want to help the homeless in Loudoun County. The homeless resource fair will be held at the Douglas Community Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Attendees will be offered free services, including medical screenings, dental screenings, vision screenings, employment services and haircutting services. Event organizers will be providing free transportation to the event.

Organizations, charities and businesses are encouraged to bring resources to the event so that individuals and families facing a housing crisis can have "one convenient location" to receive supplies.

Service providers and nonprofits participating in the fair include Volunteer America, Mobile Hope, Salvation Army, Loudoun Hunger Relief, Good Shepherd Alliance, Women Giving Back, Tree of Life Ministries, Loudoun Inova Hospital, Kids for Causes NOVA, Loudoun Cares, Chris Atwood Foundation, Crossroads Jobs, Lions Club and Workforce Loudoun.

The sponsors of the fair are Mahalo Media Solutions, Gruver Cooley, First Citizens Bank, Panera Bread, Costco and the Dinner Belles Kitchen Cupboard.
