Leesburg Kicks Off Annual Free Parking Tradition
Regular parking rates will resume on Jan. 2, 2020, beginning at 8 a.m.

LEESBURG, VA — The waiving of parking fees at the Town Hall parking garage and the Church Street parking lot in Leesburg starts today, Nov. 25. On-street parking meters, located in the historic downtown area, will be free starting Nov. 28, Thanksgiving Day, the town of Leesburg said.
There will be a two-hour limit in the Church Street parking lot and at on-street meters on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be no time limit in the Town Hall parking garage or on weekends, evenings, and holidays, the town said.
Normally, the first two hours in the Town Hall Garage are free. Each additional hour (or portion of an hour) is $1, with a $10 maximum daily. The Church Street parking lot offers 44 pay-to-park spaces, including two handicapped accessible spaces, available for public use. Pay-to-park hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at $1.50 per hour.
