Leesburg Outlet Mall Owner's Foundation Offers Scholarship

Students must submit applications by Feb. 19 for the Simon Youth Foundation scholarship for post-high school education.

LEESBURG, VA — The Simon Youth Foundation is offering a college scholarship to a graduating senior who lives near the Leesburg Premium Outlets in the Washington, D.C., area. Simon Youth Community Scholarships are awarded in every community across the country that is home to a mall owned by Simon Property Group, which owns and operates Leesburg Premium Outlets.

Recipients are eligible for a one-time $1,500 scholarship, which may be applied to tuition for a student who plans to enroll at an accredited college, university, vocational or technical school in fall 2020. One scholarship will be awarded at each Simon-owned center.

Students must apply by Feb. 19. Applicants will be evaluated based on academic promise, financial need, written response, work experience and community/extracurricular involvement, according to the Simon Youth Foundation.
