Leesburg Police Respond To Aggravated Assault

It occurred in the 100 block of N. King Street, police said.

Leesburg, VA (August 25, 2020) – At approximately 8:00 PM on August 24, 2020, Patrol Officers from the Leesburg Police Department responded to a residence in the 100 Block of North King Street for the report of an aggravated assault.

At the residence, Officers met with a 19-year-old male that reported being assaulted with a knife by a subject that is known to him. The victim was transported to a local hospital with what was determined to be non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives assigned to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) are continuing the investigation, and no arrests have been made. Detectives believe this incident to be isolated and without threat to the public.
