Man Shot In The Leg During Friday Night Shooting In Leesburg
Leesburg police are investigating a Friday night shooting on Fort Evans Road NE that left a man hospitalized in stable condition.
LEESBURG, VA — A man was hospitalized after he was shot in the leg Friday night in Leesburg, according to the Leesburg Police Department.
Officers responded around 10 p.m. Friday to investigate the report of a shooting in the 0 block of Fort Evans Road Northeast. They found an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg, police said.
The man was taken to an area hospital and was listed in stable condition as of Saturday morning. Police did not release information about a possible suspect or what led to the shooting.
