Local Team Ends Season on a High Note

Creative Dance Center is proud to announce that our CDC Stars jazz teams achieved 3 1st place finishes at the US Finals in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The teams in the Mini, Youth and Junior Jazz Divisions were then ranked 2nd place in the US Finals Grand Championship, which consisted of judging the top 10-12 teams across the United States who competed in the US Finals regionals. This highlight caps another successful season for the CDC Stars, who also earned 3 National Titles at the prestigious Battle at the Capitol in Hip Hop and Jazz.

CDC Star’s Director, Sarah Welz, said, “the success at the US Finals showcases the dedication and strength of our dancers and coaches for this young team. I’m looking forward to what we can do in our next dance season!”

CDC Stars is a competitive dance program at Creative Dance Center offering classes and co-ed Mini, Youth, Junior, and Senior-level teams in jazz, hip hop, and pom for dancers age 6 and up. CDC Stars competes locally and nationally in the USASF All Star circuit.

Auditions for our 2015-2016 CDC Stars are June 18th, 2015. Interested audition participants must call the South Riding Studio at (703) 542-2008 to reserve a space.
