Photo Gallery: Loudoun County High School Graduation

LCHS held its 58th Commencement on Monday, June 11 to honor the class of 2012.

presented diplomas to 345 students on a hot and sunny Monday morning. 

The ceremony began with the traditional Processional followed by the Presentation of the Colors and then the Singing of the National Anthem by Chelsea Zeidman, a member of the LCHS senior class. 

LCHS Chamber Choir sang "Bridge Over Troubled Water" as a choral selection.

Speakers included the principal, Mr. William Oblas, the Valedictorian, Jessica Anne Drews and Deputy Superintendent of Loudoun County Schools, Mr. Ned. Waterhouse. 

Zachary Ballinger, salutatorian, introduced the Commencement Speaker, Mr. Chris Harvey, author of "Until My Blindfold Comes Off".

Diplomas were presented, followed by the recessional to "Pomp and Circumstance", played by the LCHS Band.

There will be an all-night graduation party at Ida Lee tonight for all of today's LCHS graduates.
