Loudoun County Public Schools: Alert for Tuesday Afternoon

Today's forecast could result in an early dismissal of classes or the cancellation of after-school and/or evening activities, LCPS says.

After being closed on Monday due to icy conditions, the Loudoun County Public Schools opened on time Tuesday.

Loudoun County Public Schools opened on time today. However, LCPS is monitoring the weather forecast regarding the possibility of freezing rain during the afternoon.

Depending on revisions to the forecast and what occurs, an early dismissal of classes and/or cancellation of after-school and/or evening activities could be made. If that is the case, further communication will be provided.
