Loudoun County Schools Make Weather Call For Jan. 8
There has been a change to Wednesday's schedule based on the weather conditions, according to Loudoun County Public Schools.
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA ā Public schools in Loudoun County will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 8, with administrative offices opening at noon, the school system said Wednesday morning.
At noon, Loudoun County Public Schools said all campuses will be open for after-school and extracurricular activities on Wednesday.
All Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) campuses will be open for LCPS after-school and extracurricular activities today, Wednesday, January 8. For the status of a particular event, please confirm the status with the event coordinator.

Because temperatures fell below freezing throughout the region Tuesday night, many dangerous icy spots were located on roads across Loudoun.
Weather-related closing and delay messages are sent district-wide in Loudoun County. Messages are sent early in the morning (6 a.m.) notifying parents that schools will be closed or operating on a delay due to inclement weather. Information also is posted on the Loudoun County Public School system's Facebook page and Twitter feed.

Loudoun County Public Schools are closed today, January 8, 2020 with Administrative Offices opening at noon. Scheduled activities on school campuses may be allowed after 4:00PM. An announcement will be made by noon.
