LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services plans to expand senior center programs and reopen adult day centers in the county.
Loudoun's senior centers began offering limited outdoor programming for current members on Monday, including fitness, music, martial arts, dance and arts and crafts projects. Members should call the nearest center for class options and schedules.
Adult day centers will reopen Monday, Sept. 28 to serve existing clients. No visitors will be allowed. Hours will be reduced from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The day will have two separate, 3.5-hour sessions to ensure adequate staff-to-client ratios and adherence to social distancing to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
