LEESBURG, VA — A family woke up early Monday morning when someone was ringing the doorbell to their Leesburg home. When they looked at their Ring video, they saw a man lying down on their front porch, according to an NBC4 report.

The family called the Leesburg Police Department and a police officer arrived to check on the man. When the man rolled over, the police officer saw that he had a knife. The police officer backed away and told the man to put down the knife, NBC4 reported.

Police arrested the man, 29-year-old Nathaniel Baker, without incident, according to NBC4, and charged him with public intoxication and obstruction. The police told NBC4 he was also wearing a type of bulletproof vest under his shirt.
