LEESBURG, VA — Police found child pornography on a man's phone as they investigated an upskirting incident at a Leesburg CVS, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.

Upskirting occurs when a person takes a photo underneath a woman's skirt or dress, often without the woman's knowledge or permission.

The suspect, 19-year-old Aruj Shrestha, turned himself in to police on Wednesday. He is charged with seven counts of possession of child pornography and one count of unlawful filming, police said.

Shrestha is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

The upskirting incident originally occurred on Saturday, July 30 at the CVS on Ruby Drive in Leesburg. A woman told police that bystanders told her an unknown man may have taken inappropriate photos of her in the store, according to the police report.

"While detectives were investigating this case, they discovered multiple files of child pornography on his cellular phone," the sheriff's office said in its daily report.

Authorities have not specified a court date for Shrestha yet.
