Last year, the Doc Walker tournament attracted local celebrities and golfers, and raised over $105,000 for the National Kidney Foundation. We hope to increase that number for this year’sevent in order to support the Foundation’s programs in research, public education, early detection programs, patient services, and organ donation awareness. With the waiting list for organs exceeding 120,000 names, the National Kidney Foundation is designing and implementing innovative programs to increase organ donation – both living and deceased – to drastically reduce the waiting list.

The tournament committee is comprised of leaders from the local business community dedicated to helping the cause. Corporate co-chairs of the event are Dave Boyer of BGR Group, Yasmine Bonilla of Ameriprise Financial, and Mike Byrd of ProView.
