Nineteen LCHS Seniors Honored at Excellence Banquet
The 2012 class were among 249 students to be recognized at the Dec. 4 event.

Nineteen seniors were honored at the Excellence in Education Banquet on Sunday, Dec. 4 at the National Conference Center, in Leesburg.
Two hundred and fourty nine students, who are members of the 2012 class, represented twelve high schools in Loudoun County, including Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology who ranked in the top five percent of their class academically during the first three years of their high school career.
Other acheivements include being named as a recipient of the National Merit Scholarship, National Achievement Scholarship or as a National Hispanic Scholarship semifinalist.

In the past 29 years, the Excellence in Education Banquet has honored 3,643 students in Loudoun County. Loudoun County High School seniors that were recognized on Sunday included Brecken Auchterlonie, Zachary Ballinger, Emily Campbell, Courtner Clark, Jessica Drews, Amanda Eller, Matthew Ferry, Georgianna Fox, Layla Ghuzlan, Tatiana Lozano, Carly Machlan, Bruce McIntosh, Stephanie Modica, Sophie Newton, Sarah Olivero ,Sarah Rexroad, Robert Risque, Elisabeth Schott and Katharina “K.C.” Whitsett.
