Part-Time Teacher Position Available - Preschool through Second Grade

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Sterling has a position available for a part-time Preschool - 2nd grade teacher.

Duties: Prepare for and teach a 45-minute class three to four Sundays per month to children in preschool through second grade. Inspire children to develop compassion, open-mindedness, and spiritual connection through lessons based on a pre-selected curriculum.

Wages and Hours: Pay is dependent on experience. Wages include planning time in addition to classroom time from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Sundays.

Required:
- Demonstrated ability to relate to young children and others using good interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills.

Preferred:
- Experience as a preschool or elementary school teacher.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Familiarity with Unitarian Universalist religious education.
