Popular Leesburg Brewery Transfers Operations To Dynasty Brewing
Dynasty Brewing will be opening a second location in downtown Leesburg in early 2020 when it takes over Bike TrAle Brewing.

LEESBURG, VA — Dynasty Brewing Co. will be opening a new location in downtown Leesburg in early 2020 when it takes over the operations of Bike TrAle Brewing. The new location on Loudoun Street near Market Station will complement Dynasty Brewing's existing location in Ashburn just off Loudoun County Parkway.
Dynasty Brewing will be conducting "tap takeovers" starting Dec. 13 before fully assuming Bike TrAle Brewing's operations in January. "We look forward to becoming part of the business community in Leesburg," Dynasty Brewing said in a Dec. 5 news release. "We thank our friends at Bike TrAle for facilitating this incredible opportunity."
After two years in business, Bike TrAle Brewing's owners — Greg Perlberg of South Riding and Bruce Forbes of Leesburg — decided it was time to "adjust our focus to families and careers."

"We were successful in producing great award winning beer, we were successful at being a profitable business, and we were having a lot of fun," Perlberg and Forbes said in a statement. "What we didn't consider was juggling our full time commitments with running a business."
The pair chose a cycling theme for the brewery due to its close proximity to the W&OD trail and Perlberg's interest in cycling. Located at 101 Loudoun Street across from the government center parking garage, Bike TrAle Brewing seats 40 inside and has a patio that seats more than 40.

Also founded in 2017, Dynasty Brewing offers a wide variety of beers in cans and bottles and a menu of IPAs, stouts and other beers in its tap room. Favio Garcia, who previously co-founded Lost Rhino Brewing Co., is a partner and director of brewery operations at Dynasty Brewing.
Dynasty Brewing plans to purchase Bike TrAle's brewing equipment for an undisclosed sum and to start its lease at the Leesburg location in January. The deal will give Dynasty Brewing a presence in both eastern Loudoun and in the historic downtown area of Leesburg.
Loudoun County's government has developed business-friendly regulations and policies to attract craft breweries. The county's tourism association has created a guide called the LoCo Virginia Ale Trail that includes both Bike TrAle Brewing and Dynasty Brewing for visitors who want to enjoy the county's craft beer scene.
