Popular local eatery The Burger Shack opens in Ashburn
Second location already a hit for family-owned restaurant serving classic American fare, from hot dogs & chicken to made-to-order hamburgers
Wednesday, July 25, 2018 - Just two years and two months after introducing The Burger Shack brand to Northern Virginia with an increasingly successful American cuisine restaurant in Chantilly, Va., the family-owned and -operated burger joint has opened a second location in Ashburn to immediate acclaim.
The new spot, located in the Goose Creek Village Shopping Center at 42841 Creek View Plaza in Loudoun County, opened July 9 and has exceeded expectations for rapid popularity among the hungry public. Hundreds of new customers have streamed into the new Burger Shack, joining many regulars from the original Chantilly restaurant making visits to the franchise's first expansion.
The original Burger Shack was established May 1, 2016, inside the historic McAtee's Tavern log cabin along now-busy Route 50 in Chantilly. It quickly gained notoriety by serving what many regard as the most delicious hamburger in the DMV region.

Alongside other favorite menu items like chicken burgers, turkey burgers, hot dogs, sliders, fish, buffalo wings, milkshakes, salads and vegetarian/vegan options, The Burger Shack cooks hand-pattied made-to-order burgers, including nearly two dozen specially crafted gourmet offerings and build-your-own-burger options, using certified Angus beef that is never frozen at any point, thereby maintaining freshness and taste.
In July, The Burger Shack expanded for the first time, opening a second location near the intersection of Belmont Ridge Road and Sycolin Drive in Ashburn, offering the same fresh options and expanding the restaurant's opportunities for catering at offices and parties.

The Burger Shack of Chantilly and Ashburn is family-owned and locally operated in Northern Virginia. For take-out orders, advance notice of large groups and parties, and catering opportunities, customers may call 703-858-1111 in Loudoun County and 703-263-1901 in Fairfax County. The Burger Shack is open Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 pm., Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for dine-in and carry-out at 13661 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway in Chantilly and 42841 Creek View Plaza in Ashburn.
