Purcellville Student Earns Foresters Financial Scholarship
A student from Purcellville received a scholarship that could be worth up to $8,000 over four years, according to Foresters Financial.
PURCELLVILLE, VA — A student from Purcellville received a $2,000 scholarship from Foresters Financial, a life insurance company. The student, Rachel Cochrane, will use the scholarship to finance her studies at Patrick Henry College in Purcellville.
Foresters said Cochrane will also be eligible for an additional $6,000 over the course of three years. Cochrane's scholarship will go into effect when she begins her studies for the fall semester.
Cochrane earned her scholarship due to her academic performance and volunteer work. In their news release announcing Cochrane's scholarship, Foresters highlighted her time volunteering with Patrick Henry College's Eden Troupe.
