LEESBURG, VA — Santa Claus is coming to a Virginia shopping by helicopter, not sleigh, on Dec. 7 to meet with children and spread joy. Santa is scheduled to land in his helicopter at Leesburg's Virginia Village shopping center, located at 34 Catoctin Circle, at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
After seeing Santa arrive by helicopter, visitors will get to enjoy holiday treats in the Santa House, which will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and get photos with Santa. Children will have the opportunity to pick out a gift to give each of their parents in the kids-only store, at no cost.
The shopping center also will be collecting gift donations such as winter hats, gloves and scarves for the YMCA. On the same day, the farmer’s market will be open next to the shopping center form 9 a.m. to noon. More information is available at vavillageleesburg.com/santas-village.
