Teenaged Girl Assaulted On Washington & Old Dominion Trail In Leesburg: Police
A teenaged girl was assaulted last week while she was jogging on the Washington & Old Dominion Trail in Leesburg, police said.

LEESBURG, VA — A teenaged girl was assaulted on the Washington & Old Dominion Trail in Leesburg last week, according to the Leesburg Police Department. Now, authorities are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the assault.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7, police said. The victim was jogging on the Washington & Old Dominion Trail in the area northwest of the trail access point from Tuscarora Creek Park.
The victim, who police only identified as a "juvenile teenaged girl," told authorities that a man grabbed her while she was jogging. Then, a bicyclist collided with the suspect, who then fled the area on foot, police said.

"The suspect is described as a white male, between 6'00" to 6'04", with dark brown curly hair that is approximately shoulder length, with hairy arms, and wearing tan cargo shorts and a blue short sleeved shirt," the police department said.
