Town Of Leesburg Receives Laserfiche Government Impact Award

Leesburg, VA (February 9, 2021) – The Town of Leesburg has learned that it is the recipient of this year’s Laserfiche Government Impact Award, which recognizes leaders that have successfully established digital transformation initiatives while delivering a significant return on investments for their organization.

The Town’s Information Technology Department recently brought government services online using Laserfiche Cloud. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Leesburg processed $6 million of CARES Act funding to support businesses and non-profit organizations by delivering a modernized citizen experience.

Through the years, the Town has also been instrumental in supporting its government peers by sharing its expertise in leveraging industry-leading digital solutions to optimize and enhance citizen service delivery.

“There were so many people involved in this process,” said Information Technology Director Jakub Jedrzejczak. “It is an honor for our team, our Town, to be recognized.”

Recipients must be individuals within the Laserfiche community who exemplify leadership, modernize the customer experience, and empower others to transform their organizations into thriving digital workplaces.

The award will be presented to the Town of Leesburg during a virtual networking event on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. This is the third year the award has been presented.
