Town Of Leesburg Seeks Customer Feedback On Verizon Cable TV Franchise

Technology & Communications Commission will hold a virtual public forum on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

Leesburg, VA (February 16, 2021) – As part of the renewal process for Verizon’s non-exclusive franchise with the Town of Leesburg, the Technology and Communications Commission, in coordination with the Town’s Information Technology Department, is seeking customer feedback on residents' experience with their Verizon cable TV service.

In particular, the commission wants to hear from anyone who has been told that Verizon cable TV service is not available at their Town of Leesburg address, as well as from any residents with currently unresolved service issues or comments regarding the Verizon service.

Residents have several opportunities and ways to provide feedback. First, residents can complete an online survey at www.leesburgva.gov/cabletvsurvey. Resident can submit the survey anonymously, if they wish. The survey will remain open until March 3, 2021 at 5 pm.

Second, the Technology and Communications Commission will host a virtual public forum during their regular March meeting. Residents can join the meeting via Webex from their computer, tablet, or smartphone, or they can join by phone. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. The Webex link and phone numbers are available on the Town website at www.leesburgva.gov/TechComm.
