Town Now Accepting Applications For Pandemic Business Assistance And Recovery Grant

Funding will be awarded on a first come, first served basis in Leesburg

Leesburg, VA (February 12, 2021) – The Town of Leesburg is now accepting applications for the Pandemic Business Assistance and Recovery (P-BAR) grant.

On January 26, the Leesburg Town Council approved the P-BAR in order to continue to support local businesses during the COVID- 19 pandemic. A total of $500,000 has been allocated for small business grant funding as part of this plan. Funding will be awarded on a first come, first served basis for those applicants meeting eligibility requirements.

The P-BAR offers two funding tiers:

  • $5,000 Grant – Awarded to businesses with annual gross receipts between $25,000 and $749,999
  • $10,000 Grant – Awarded to businesses with annual gross receipts between $750,000 and $2,500,000

In order to be eligible, businesses must meet a number of criteria, including operating in the Town of Leesburg before March 1, 2020, in good standing on all tax payments and related business licenses.
