Town Solicits Video Selfies For 'We Are Leesburg' Compilation
Leesburg wants residents to submit video selfies of themselves or their family members saying "I am Leesburg" or "We are Leesburg."
LEESBURG, VA — The Leesburg Diversity Commission is encouraging the town's residents to participate in the making of a "We Are Leesburg" video.
The commission wants residents to submit video selfies of themselves or their family members saying "I am Leesburg" or "We are Leesburg" for inclusion in the compilation video. The finished video will be shared on the town’s social media accounts.
“We want to highlight how diverse and inclusive Leesburg is,” Diversity Commission Vice Chair Linda McCray, who is heading up the video project, said Wednesday in a statement. “We want to celebrate our diversity across all spectrums — race, age, disability, ethnicity, religion, language."
