Tuscarora Sends Fourteen Students to Annual Excellence Banquet
The 2012 class was the first set of Huskies to be honored on Sunday, Dec. 4.

Fourteen seniors from made up the first class of Huskies to be honored during the Excellence in Education Banquet at the National Conference Center, in Leesburg, on Sunday, Dec. 4.
Two hundred and fourty nine students, who are members of the 2012 class, represented twelve high schools in Loudoun County, including Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology who ranked in the top five percent of their class academically during the first three years of their high school career.
Other acheivements include being named as a recipient of the National Merit Scholarship, National Achievement Scholarship or as a National Hispanic Scholarship semifinalist.

In the past 29 years, the Excellence in Education Banquet has honored 3,643 students in Loudoun County. Tuscarora seniors that were recognized on Sunday included Tara Amrhein, Anne Archer, Amanda Armstrong, Rhiannon Blakeman, James Cassar, John Codde, Rebecca Giles, Jonathan Gladish, Robert Keenan, John Meyerhofer, Lucas Smith, Kate Titus, Jordan Tyrrell and Kristopher Yorke.
