Virtual Meeting To Provide Update On Evergreen Mill Road Widening Project

Leesburg, VA (March 31, 2021) – The Town of Leesburg’s Department of Public Works and Capital Projects will host a virtual neighborhood meeting on Wednesday, April 14 regarding the Evergreen Mill Road Widening Project.

Approximately 1.3 miles of Evergreen Mill Road, from the Heritage High School entrance (south of Battlefield Parkway) to South King Street (Route 15), will be widened to a four-lane street. The project will also include a sidewalk, a shared use path, utility relocations, curb, gutter, and storm drainage.

The online meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and is intended to provide residents impacted by the project with an opportunity to view the 30 percent concept plans, find out about the next steps for the project design, ask questions, and provide input.
