Watercolors By Local Artist, Antonia Plazibat, Now On Display At Leesburg Town Hall

Leesburg, VA (March 1, 2021) – The Leesburg Commission on Public Art (COPA) is pleased to announce a new art display that is available for viewing at Leesburg Town Hall (25 West Market Street).

Near and Far: Journeys in Watercolor features 16 pieces of art that depicts landscapes and animals from Loudoun County and beyond.

The artist, Antonia Plazibat, has been painting watercolors exclusively for 20 years. Her work has been featured in numerous exhibits at The Art League at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, Va. and The Artspace in Herndon, Va.

The exhibit will run through May 31, 2020. The public is encouraged to stop by and see the art during normal business hours at Leesburg Town Hall. Plazibat’s work can also be found on Instagram via @watercolorbytoni.

The first floor lobby and hallway of the Leesburg Town Hall features rotating exhibits by Leesburg and Loudoun artists. Those interested in having their work considered for a future exhibit should contact Leah Kosin, staff liaison to the Commission on Public Art, at lkosin@leesburgva.gov.
