West Market Street Closure Extended Through September In Leesburg

Leesburg, VA (August 21, 2020) – Closure of West Market Street, between Ayr Street and Morven Park Road, has been extended from August 24 to September 28, 2020. The roadway has been closed since late May in order to assist with the West Market Street sidewalk project.

The extended closure will allow the contractor to complete the major roadway work by the end of September, three months ahead of schedule. Detours will remain in place.

The project will conclude with retaining wall fascia work in November 2020. Updates will be posted to the Town’s website and social media accounts on a regular basis.
