Woodgrove Wins 3rd Straight Scholastic Challenge
Academic teams from LCPS high schools take part in the academic quiz bowl-style competition.

Woodgrove High School won its third consecutive Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Scholastic Challenge on April 8 at Park View High School.
The Wolverines totaled 580 points in the two-part competition for the 2013-2014 school year.
Academic teams from LCPS high schools take part in the academic quiz bowl-style
competition. Four team members at a time sit on the stage and buzz in with their answers to questions about science, math, history, current events and literature. The first team to buzz in with the correct answer receives points.
The final standings for the 2013-14 Academic Challenge are as follows:
- Woodgrove: 580 points
- Broad Run: 400 points
- Freedom: 400 points
- Loudoun County: 400 points
- Dominion: 380 points
- Potomac Falls: 330 points
- Briar Woods: 300 points
- Park View: 280 points
- Stone Bridge: 280 points
- Loudoun Valley: 260 points
- Heritage: 210 points
- John Champe: 170 points
