Yard Waste Collection Ends For The Season On Nov. 30, 2020

Leesburg, VA (November 16, 2020) – The last yard waste collection for the 2020 season will be Monday, November 30, 2020. Yard waste will not be collected during the months of December, January, February, or March.

If residents have yard waste during the winter months, it will be collected as trash on residents’ normal trash and recycling days. During this time, yard waste can be set out in trash containers, brown paper bags or plastic trash bags.
Collection of yard waste will resume in the spring.

Yard waste includes grass clippings, leaves, weeds, small branches, and other small garden waste, which is collected on Mondays throughout the Town, by Patriot Disposal Services. Please note, the end of yard waste collection does not impact bulk leaf collection (which runs through the end of December), or year-round brush collection.
