The Lorton Monopoly Tournament is a great family friendly event for “kids”
of all ages from 8 – 108 (or older!). The registration fee is $25 which
includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and great door prizes. All proceeds benefit the Lorton Community Action Center (LCAC), a local food bank and human services nonprofit serving southeast Fairfax County.
There are
2 timed rounds of game-play where top "money" earners from each table advance to
the third and final round. The Grand Prize is $500! Youth (ages 8-12) may
select to play only other youth in Round 1. There are also volunteer
opportunities related to the tournament.
