Buying Insurance because of its value or price?

I remember when I starting searching for auto insurance for the first time. Always asking around for the cheapest price. I used to be on the computer all day getting quotes from different companies.

But did I even know what I was shopping for? No! All I knew was I needed insurance because it was THE LAW! Not once did I someone sit down and explain the different coverages to me.

Does that happen to most people? its probably why so many people jump from one company to another.

When you call up an Insurance Company, what would you want accomplished?

an 800 number giving me the cheapest quote in under 10 seconds, or a live agent that cares about you have the insurance coverage that you need?
